Installing IonCube Loaders

Many shared hosts have loader files present already and you will be able to point to those loaders in your php.in file if given the appropriate link. If you have cPanel then it may be possible to enable the loaders under the "PHP Config" section of the cPanel.

Loaders can be downloaded here for your server type:

http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php

If you are on a shared hosting account and they allow you to use a local php.ini file, then you will likely be able to install the loader locally in a folder like /public_html/ioncube

  • Upload the loader for your PHP version and the loader-wizard.php to /public_html/ioncube
  • Visit the loader-wizard.php file. It will tell you whether the loaders are operable on your system, and the appropriate text for you or your provider add to the php.ini file.
